Collections at the end of last term reminded me how much we manage to pack into quite a short term, punctuated by illness and snow. And if that's true of this term gone, how much more have we to look forward to this summer term!
As the wind blows in from the east and we have a small amount of snow, I can't help feeling that it is at least the weekend and school was unaffected last week and it should be better by Monday!
Meanwhile a few notes to update you on last week and to keep you informed about next week.
May I first of all thank all those who contributed to an enjoyable Open Day yesterday? The weather was not in our favour, but I am very grateful to all the children who came in to 'show off' what we do and to my colleagues for their hard work. The comments of the visitors fully echoed my thoughts. I was also most grateful to the parents who provided lovely refreshments and talked to visitors in the Dining Room.
It's been quite a week nationally and at Glebe House School!
Thank you to everyone who has borne the difficulties caused by the snow and ice.
