A spectacular Annual Christmas Show on Friday 29th November, at Hunstanton Town Hall marked the start of the festive season at Glebe House School.
The entire school came together for an enchanting evening filled with music, dance and festive cheer, in front of a packed audience of family and friends, all excited to start the Christmas celebrations.
Guests were welcomed by a serenade of instrumental music from the Carol Club before the show opened with a vibrant performance by Divisions III, IV and V, who danced to the Bollywood hit “Jai Ho” in a Strictly-style routine.
The Pre-Prep children charmed the audience with their fun “Nativity” and a lively rendition of “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” followed by Divisions VI, VII and VIII performing a beautiful show of “Reflection” from Disney’s Mulan.
Divisions III and IV then brought smiles with “Happiest Christmas Tree,” and Pre-Prep Ballet enchanted everyone with”Pure Imagination” from “Wonka.” The Eagles wowed the crowd with a medley from “Starlight Express,” featuring pupils on roller skates!
The festive vibe continued with Divisions VII and VIII performing “Jingle Bell Rock” and the Prep Choir delivering beautiful renditions of “The Bells of Christmas” and “Sleigh Ride.” Divisions V and VI then took the stage with a nostalgic performance of Wham’s “Last Christmas.”
The grand finale saw the whole school come together for “Sparkle & Shine,” filling the hall with happiness and earning lots of applause. It was a heartwarming end to a magical evening, expertly organised by Mrs Hipwell, with invaluable support from Ms Gina, Mrs Hawkins and Mrs Carnell. The Friends of Glebe House School also ran a festive bar, with proceeds going towards the Senior Production of “Grease.”
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made this magical evening possible and our wonderful audience for their support. Here’s to a festive season filled with joy, music, and community spirit at Glebe House School.
