We are delighted to invite you and your child to a special event at Glebe House School on Friday 15th March, designed to help our families in making informed decisions about their senior school choices.
Who should attend the Your Future evening?
This event is tailored for parents, carers and pupils of Divisions IV, V, VI and VII. We strongly encourage including the child in the decision-making process, and hence are making the evening relevant and beneficial for both adults and children.
What will you learn?
The evening will start at 5:30pm in the School Hall with a 20-minute presentation by Adrian Stewart, the Head of Glebe House School. Adrian will share an overview of the educational journey offered at Glebe and provide valuable guidance on the process of preparing and supporting our families in making decisions about senior school options.
Recent Old Aquilians will also be in attendance and will share their experiences of transitioning to senior school having left Glebe after Div VIII.
Drinks and nibbles will be available for parents and children attending the event from the Staff Room.
Why are we holding this event?
Attending a preparatory school means families have the decision about senior school still to make. As a child progresses through their educational journey at Glebe, their skills, interests and personalities develop, and in doing so a path for senior school becomes a little clearer.
As a school, and through the relationships we are building with the senior schools we traditionally feed into, we can support families in this decision making, giving advice and helping with the process.
Meet the Schools
A table-top exhibition featuring 13 senior schools will take place in the Drawing Room and Headmaster’s Office from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. This exhibition will allow families to engage directly with the senior school representatives, learn more about the offerings of each senior school, gain insights into the application process, and ask specific questions.
