The community of Glebe House School was delighted to watch Junior Prep’s captivating rendition of Roald Dahl’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs on Wednesday 20th March.
Our hardworking pupils dedicated hours to rehearsing throughout the term, with the guidance of Mrs Haslam and Mrs Hancock and the support of the parents and wider prep staff.
On the day of the performance, the Pre-Prep children were filled with joy and excitement as they enjoyed the full dress rehearsal. As evening fell, the School Hall transformed into a magical world where our young performers, brimming with enthusiasm, impressed their families and friends with their talent.
The older pupils who played in the lead roles delivered fabulous performances, their superb acting and singing skills on full display. It was evident that a tremendous amount of effort had gone into learning the lines and embracing the individual roles, and we couldn’t be more proud of them.
What made this performance truly special was the children’s role in shaping it. With only a little help from staff, their ideas and suggestions were incorporated, resulting in a performance that was truly theirs.
Dance, drama, singing, and performance play a big part in life here at Glebe, and shows like this are so uplifting to watch.
Huge congratulations to all involved for a triumphant finale to the Spring Term. Here’s to many more memorable performances!
