At Glebe House we’re committed to extending learning beyond the classroom and embracing the opportunities right on our doorstep. Recently, Division I enjoyed their first trip to the Hunstanton Library, a delightful outing that began with a short 10-minute walk from the school, taking them across the recreation ground.
The class and their teachers received a warm welcome from Helen Janku and her team at the library, who had prepared a wonderful selection of age-appropriate festive books for the children to explore. Adding to the fun were festive creative colouring sheets ready for the children to enjoy.
Some children brought their own library cards, while others signed up during the visit. We are thrilled to say that every Division I pupil is now the proud owner of their own library card, which they eagerly used to borrow some exciting books.
The highlight of the visit was a group story time on the mat, where Helen read a story to the entire class. It was a perfect ending to a wonderful trip.
A big thank you to Helen and her amazing team for such a warm welcome. We can’t wait to return next term!
