Div II True’s Yard

Division II kicked off 2025 with a fascinating history trip to True’s Yard Fisherfolk Museum in King’s Lynn. This visit was part of their recent history lessons and provided a fantastic opportunity to bring their learning to life.

The children, accompanied by Mrs Maud, explored an original fisherman’s cottage in King’s Lynn’s North End and were amazed (and a bit shocked!) to discover that a family of ten once lived in just two small rooms—with no bathroom, no kitchen, no TV and a shared toilet for four families!

the statue of George Vancouver and explored the historic Customs House.

This trip was a fantastic opportunity for the children to engage with our local history, broadening their horizons and enriching their learning beyond the classroom.

We are so grateful for these opportunities and look forward to more exciting trips in the future.
