Glebe House School’s Inaugural ‘Your Future’ Event

On Friday, 15th March, we hosted Glebe House School’s first-ever ‘Your Future’ event. The event was a unique opportunity for our Division IV, V, VI, and VII families to connect with the 13 destination schools our pupils traditionally move on to after Division VIII.

Our new Head, Mr Stewart, has been busy visiting these schools and building relationships, culminating in this event. All 13 schools took a table at our evening event, to which all our Division IV, V, VI, and VII children and parents were invited.

Each school also came with one or two Old Aquilians, who shared information about their experiences at Glebe and their current schools. It was great for our Prep pupils to have a chance to speak with children who have gone through the same journey they are now on.

The evening began with a presentation by Mr Stewart in the School Hall, while our visitors enjoyed a warm supper in the Dining Hall. Families and pupils then had the chance to meet with the destination schools in the Drawing Room and Head’s Office, learning about all of the opportunities they offer.

A team of Governors served drinks and nibbles, creating a convivial atmosphere for families to catch up between school meetings. The event was a resounding success, with the Prep school excitedly buzzing.

We are grateful to all who attended and look forward to announcing our next event. This event coincided with the launch of our new ‘Future Schools’ landing page on our website, further demonstrating our commitment to supporting families in their decision-making journey for senior school.
