On Friday, 11 October 2024, the Prep school, from Divisions III to VIII, gathered for the much-anticipated Inter House Cross Country event.
The first inter-house sporting event of the school year was blessed with mild weather, blue skies and sunshine, and it was wonderful to see pupils of all abilities proudly representing their Houses.
The event was organised by Mr Turner and his sports team and featured an exciting course created by Mr Hawkins and Mr Ring. They made great use of our large sports field and the forest school area, offering fun and challenging routes tailored to each age group, including Junior Prep, Intermediate Prep and Senior Prep.
The children were cheered on by their fellow House members, families and staff, and they displayed incredible effort and determination. Many performed their best race yet, and the complete results will be shared at the end of the term, so stay tuned for updates!
It was a fantastic day that highlighted the incredible talents of our pupils, positive atmosphere and the strong sense of team spirit within our school. Congratulations to all the children for their impressive performances, and a special thank you to Mr Turner, Mr Hawkins and Mr Ring for organising such a wonderful event.
