Outreach and community are at the heart of life at Glebe House. Following the success of RotaKids Marathon Monday for Macmillan Cancer Support, our Division VIII Prefects took charge of the annual Movember Great Duck Hunt on Thursday, 28th November, during PSHEE.
This was the second time Glebe House has hosted the event, which included the whole school, from Reception to Division VIII. Mr Stewart and Mr Turner sported impressive real moustaches while the rest of the staff and children joined the fun with wonderfully creative and colourful fake ones.

The weather was perfect, and the competition was full of traditional Inter House enthusiasm. The main prize for this event was the Giant Rubber Duck ‘Barbs’, and this year’s Duck Hunt came with a twist: bonus ducks with stars hidden on their bases. These lucky finds were worth an extra five points, making for an exciting finish!

But it was more than just a competition; the day celebrated community and giving back. Thanks to everyone’s efforts, we raised over £280 for Movember and looked fabulous while doing so! There was fantastic teamwork across the years as each house competed in relay style to find the most ducks hidden in the Pre Prep playground.

Thank you to everyone who took part and supported this fantastic event. Your enthusiasm and generosity made it a memorable day for all!
