On Sunday, September 22nd, Glebe House School hosted the much-anticipated Family Fun Day & Golf Classic at the picturesque Heacham Manor Golf Club.
This year’s event, open to the entire Glebe community, marked the start of our 150th-anniversary celebrations. It was a fantastic way to welcome everyone back to the new school year, especially our new families. Organised by the Glebe House School & Nursery Parents’ Committee we saw a record number of attendees and raised over £2,000!
Despite one heavy shower, the ten teams of golfers set off at 10am and came back smiling at 1:30 pm, ready to join over 30 Glebe families for a delicious two-course carvery lunch, followed by the prize-giving and an afternoon packed with child-friendly entertainment, including a bouncy castle, a 9-hole crazy golf course, live music from Goz Unplugged, balloon modelling, face painting and more. It was a fabulous afternoon, with lots of laughter and many happy (yet weary!) children by the end of the afternoon.
