Pre-Prep rounded off January on a cheerful and uplifting note with a lovely Christingle service led by Reverend Sandra from St Mary’s Church in Old Hunstanton.
To get ready for the event, the children created their own Christingles during their weekly Wellness Afternoon. During this time, they explored the significance of Christingles and learned about the traditions associated with the Christingle Service.
The children thoroughly enjoyed singing cheerful songs and showcasing what they had learned in their music lessons this term. The sight of their glowing candles lighting up the room created a magical moment that the children will always remember, bringing a beautiful moment of light, hope, and joy on a chilly winter afternoon.
